Jonathan went to Tokashiki for Shorebreak 2007. This was his last chance to hang out with the youth group for an extended period of time. It was awesome! As always, God did some amazing things in the lives of students and adults alike.

Amanda really got into super hero dress up night. She looks way too much like the real supergirl. It was her first youth retreat as a leader, and she rocked!
There are 92 people on this 45 passenger bus... It was all perfectly safe, though! I was driving :-).
Ed expresses the feelings of most of the staff as we ride the ferry back to Naha. He is another one who is simply amazing at connecting with the students.

The group, including our superhero mascots. They were hilarious. Their names were Insight, Oversight, and Hindsight, or "Heine" for short. 29 Azusa Pacific University students ministered to us during the week. Judging by their ministry to us and their attitudes on this trip, that must be a great school!
Buddy preached at Project 196 Sunday after we returned. It was really good to partner with him in ministry again, even if it was just for the week. We miss you, bro!
