it's been a little while since i've blogged. i realized once i started that it will now be one more thing on my list of things to do. so here's what we've been up to...
my first mother's day!!! yay!!! jonathan took us to okuma for a couple days. it was great to have him all to myself for a change. we had a great time. kristin still doesn't like the ocean. she doesn't mind if you take her out in the water, but the waves scare her a little.
what else??? jonathan went to yaki niku paradise with a friend, jon carpenter. it's a restaurant where you cook your own food over a fire at your table. it costs 1700 yen and you get 90 minutes to eat all you want. they had pig's feet, octopus, lamb, beef, pork.... when jonathan's mom asked him how the veggies were, his question was, "what veggies?" they actually have them, but jonathan was more interested in the meat!
and... jonathan took krumpie for a walk today. that's what the picture of the bull is all about. this guy in our neighborhood walks his bull about once a week. i try to stay inside on those days! 
hope everyone is doing well. we can't wait to get back to the states this summer!!!!
